Yep, exactly the same response when I tried to use the 25% discount code.

1 order placed for couple of hundred pounds on credit card accepted and discount applied. 2nd order for 32" Samsung, later same day on same card rejected.

Order placed again for Samsung, couple of days later rejected.

Re-ordered with debit card - code no longer valid.

Think this is pretty standard for Freemans, though I've had an email assuring me otherwise.

yes their system is strange, I have a feeling they input the credit card details manually after the internet orders go through (as they will have this all in place for their catalogue sales), i suspect whoever handled our order put the details in wrong and got told our card was rejected (which is rubbish). We ordered using the 20% off code, all was going well and we were told all was fine, until this morning when I checked the post and read their suspect 'card declined' message. Not impressed at all and their customer service was extremely unhelpful. A month waiting to get nowhere, we didnt cause the problem they did, they stuffed up somewhere, not impressed at all.

Yesssssss! My 26" Samsung at 8:45am this morning by Amtrak! A very quick check before I went to work and it looks good (and no damage)

For those of you still waiting:
I ordered on 29 January, paid in full by card using the standard 20% off code via quidco. Should hopefully also get the additional 5% cashback which is still being tracked by quidco.
It was delivered out of the blue, but I did phone freemans yesterday on the 0114 number and they said it had been sent for processing and would be delievered in 3-5 days.

Received my 32" samsung today at 11.45am no notice given just turned up. Ordered mine 31st jan paid in full by card with 20% off new order, over the phone after previously ordering online and had problems.
I live in the Warrington area - hope that helps someone

hee-hee :dance: After getting my 32" screen yesterday i've just ordered another one for someone at work with the 25% discount [20% new user code + 5% Quidco]. The last set took 23 days to turn up which i don't think is that bad for the price, so hopefully the new one should be here by the end of March :rolleyes:

Finally, my 32" turned up today. Quiet pleased. Great Picture and looks very smart.

This was only received after many, many persistent calls to a supervisor at Freemans which finally meant they honoured the original 25% code (which they later denied had existed) plus 5% through Quidco so all in all a great deal.

Hope everyone else waiting for theirs gets to receive them soon.
