    I've been in a similar position to some of you ie Freemans cancelling my order etc.Lucky for you lot,you were notified.I spent all weekend calling customer service and they said they couldn't see my order and to try 'tomorrow'....
    Some bright spark on Monday,on my sixth attempt at getting some sense out of these muppets then said "Oh,your orders been cancelled as you'd used an invalid code".They hadn't even had the courtesy to inform me of my order being cancelled!!! :mad:
    I argued but got nowhere until she told me to call "Casual Cash Sales" as I'd used the Pay and Go service on t'internet and they couldn't help me anymore!! !!!!!!!!! :mad:
    I called Casual Cash Sales and they offered me 20% discount over the phone and although I tried for 25% they were havin none of it.I said that I'd order via the website (Which therefore allowed me to use Quidco and get my extra 5%).
    First thing I noticed on the website is that they've removed the Samsung TV's from there but it was easy to get around - Just have a look at an order confirmation email from your cancelled order and look at the catalogue number on there and search for it on the Freemans site - Lo and behold,Samsung TV magically appears!!! :D
    Anyway,I've ordered the 26in LCD yesterday and it's showing 25 days for delivery so fingers crossed....

    What a truly great company Freemans is...... NOT!!!! :mad:

    They actually gave me the 20% discount code over the telephone yesterday to use and now they send me this.I'm phoning them right away the useless bunch of ************* :mad:

    seems like i have had a similar experience, order ref and then lots of calls and emails only to be told the code was invalid.

    I realise the tv is cheap and great value but i am not wasting any more of my time with these fools.

    BTW Sarah Gibbs must love coming to work on a morning

  • If their website accepts a 25% discounted code though, how can they then cancel your order?

    I got the same email saying that the code had expired. How do I stand though if the website accepted it? Mind you, it din't actually show the 25% discount...

    It didnt accept it, it states that discounts will be validated / processed after your order. I thought this may happen which is why i went through the 20% off first customer method - its legit.
  • Ring them the code works over the phone just stand your ground
