I had ordered the 26" using the 25% discount code and later received confirmation email stating that the price was £599.

However, I received a letter from Freemans this morning saying that the order was delayed due to problems with stock but the price was £450! Fantastic! Just hope I actually get it.

You should do now you've had confirmation...
I've ordered mine with the 20% code and they've told me that they will charge me full whack and then refund me the difference after the TV has been despatched.Needless to say I've checked with two different people now at Freemans and that information has been appended to my order.
24th Feb or so for delivery on mine.I also went through Quidco for an extra 5% :)

    Quick question (or 2):

Are people who are using Quidco ordering over the phone and getting the Quidco 5%? If so what would I need to do? I've not got a Quidco account but will sign up if it's worth my effort and is possible to use on phone orders (don't quite trust doing it online if they end up refusing the order and not letting me know).

If it's also true that you don't get enough credit on account setups, and they don't accept a CC for full payment for first order (read that somewhere futher back) then how the hell are people getting a completed order with the 20% new user code? I've tried to follow the thread but I'm still a little confused (tired - must get sleep ;)).

If somebody who's got a confirmed and processed order, could you please PM if you don't mind.

Quidco can only be used for orders placed online.

Pretty much thought that, but with some people saying that online orders were being cancelled without them being informed, I wasn't quite 100%.

So I should be pretty safe to order now on Credit Card with Quidco and the 20% new customer code then?

I wouldn't mind doing the 50 weeks interest free account but if they won't give enough credit for the order then CC is better than nothing.
  • Is this offer still on? Can you still order by phone? Only that the 20% off for new customer discount isn't showing on the website. Does anyone know the code for the 20% off?

I ordered using Quidco over a week ago, but nothing is showing on my quidco account. Also talking Quidco, how long does the status on Quidco stay as tracked, before it mores to the next status? I would appreciate a bit of advice from you regular Quidco users.

I ordered mine on 31st Jan, using 20% code via Quidco. I have had confirmation that the order will be delivered within 7 days, but no sign of it yet. I'm really hoping everything goes OK....

  • Hi,

I am trying to identify which of the 2 different Samsung LCD TV's I should get. Freemans have got 2 different ones for sale, both same price. However the one I want (the LE32R41BD) does not appear on the web site to be the Freeview model.

Everywhere on the web the LE32R41BD is the Freeview one, so I am getting a bit confused.

Can someone tell me which is which, I want to make sure I order the correct model !

    Thanks

    Chris

The one with freeview is the IDTV (integrated digital) -it's the one with 'The Incredibles' on it on the site

Get the one with freeview the LCD analogue tuner looks poor in comparison to the freeview tuner. The LCD IDTV has a built-in freeview and analogue tuners and the difference is incredible.

There is an issue with the freeview where you can get a green flash every so often ours had this problem but was upgraded this week with a OFTA update but unfortunately 4.3 aspect ratio no longer can be stretched to 16.9 screen, which is annoying some station still don't broadcast 16.9 even new programs ie Channel 4. Then there's also the old programs BBC repeats on UK History than cant be stretched.
