Why use a 15% code? Unless you already have an account with them the 20% on the Freemans site will still work fine.

As to the new 25% code not working, 2 people have used it today and got it to stick, one was by phone though so its not 100% proven good yet.
All Dell'd up ;) several times over :)
  • there is a new code starting with M again on the HotUKDeals that works, you will need to follow the instruction posted on the HotUKDeals

Well, superb. I followed the sales reps advice and ordered a second TV over the phone as "to make sure and you can always return one if the internet order ever shows up." I have since recieved an email telling me the 25% code is invalid - (despite it being confirmed as OK over the phone) and I have been invited to reorder at full price!

They have now blocked my telephone order as it is showing up as a "duplicate" order and they are not able to tell me why. They will refer it back to the department who deal with "this sort of thing" and if I would like to call back on Wednesday they may be able to sort it out.

Both barrells are now loaded and will be cocked at approx. 0859hrs Monday morning, just before I call their "helpline". I don't know why I am bothering (except of course I do, it's a cracking LCD at a fantastic price) [;)]
  • Amazing! You guys are trying to get the order accepted and getting problems whilst I am trying to cancel it and STILL getting problems!! Freemans customer services are the most inept I have ever come across!

I should imagine that Samsungs central warehouse and distribution center have cried enough! I think these tv's are sent direct rather than from Freemans.

I doubt there are enough to go to the other retailers with the amount Freemans must have sold in the last week.

I would also guess that they have made little or no profit on these sales so its in their interest to block as many as possible now they know whats going on.

The best you can hope for now to be certain is to use the 20% new user code.

I do have an account with them so this gives me 15% off buy now pay August plus 10% commission back. None of the 25% codes are working- so Im not even bother trying- only to have my order cancelled.

I take it this is recommended for the xbox 360 ?
  • Ordered a 26" with 20% off - it's a bit worrying that the 20% reduction isn't shown on the final sheet that you print, though!
