Their order system is a joke! I ordered on the day of OP and the discount code didnt work, however it showed that the order went through at full price. I emailed 8 times to cancel and each time I get a reply saying that the order hasn't yet updated on computer and to send a repeat email after 48hrs(why the original one can't be dealt with is beyond me!) Last night I had yet another email saying to send another cancellation request in 48hrs (this has been going on for 4 days now!) only this time the typo errors (extreme bad spelling and grammar) were so numerous as to make the email almost unreadable! I am still unsure if the order has been cancelled and have sent an irate email back to customer services to sort it out...hopefully. If this is how the company deals with customers then I am going to steer clear!Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.

If you can afford to wait it might be better to do that - they do send off new orders for a credit check which it is why it can take a while (still don't understand why it disappears though). When eventually it does show up they can then apply the discount if it isn't on there. You can always do what I did and call and do it over the phone - they will confirm the discount code there and then. If the internet TV ever shows up, you simply arrnage for them to collect it and take it back.
They have clearly had problems with the website (the rep I spoke to this morning said I was the second person she had spoken to with the same problem today). Its worth it for one of the best budget HD LCDs around for £450!!!0 -

Cheers.
The 32" is a nice screen, no dead pixals and the viewing angle is much wider than the Dell 26" its replaced.
Freeview picture is the best I have ever seen and I am in a non freeview area but do have a good digital aerial.
The only downsides so far are the analogue channels are awful, its like I am using a set-top aerial, but as freeview is so good I can maybe live with that.
The tv doesnt seem to like me connecting a video recorder via scart, I get scrambled video back from the video player, I will look at that over the weekend to try and see whats going on, worked fine with the dell tv.m You may also like to note that it may be hard or not possible to record freeview with this set. Certainly with only 1 digital tuner you cant record one channel while watching another, unless its analogue of course in which case the video tuner will capture it.
Lastly and this could be a biggy for some is the component sockets are almost flush with the backplane of the tv, meaning that any quality lead you try and plug into the socket will fall out again as the outer part of the plug cant get a grip on the phono socket. I had to use 3 cheapo video leads to connect as they are thin with no bulky sleeving. This is apparently a known manufacturing fault on these tv's and can be fixed if you push Samsung hard enough by repositioning the socket board or opening out the holes that they poke out of. The av forums have several threads on this issue.
You could of course return the TV to Freemans if its a problem for you and ask for another, but I am so pleased with the picture on mine I would hate to return it for another only to find its not as good!
Hmmm...maybe thats too much infoAll Dell'd upseveral times over

Mike- it sounds like you had the same Dell 26" lcd as me which is prone to terrible tearing and ghosting with fast motion, does the samsung suffer with this as I know lots of lcds do?Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.

I have yet to see any ghosting and after the Dell, I AM looking for it
If I could have this screen and the Dell connectivity at this price I would be a very happy man.
I have a Snazio HD DVD cinema player and the PQ through that is super fine too.All Dell'd upseveral times over

Can someone tell me how good the picture quality of this TV is when connected to NTL Digital?0 -
I've ordered mine, fingers xed but not hopeful.
My two pence worth, if you go in to the Help section you CANNOT return TV's just cos you don't want it. Its not included in the usual catalogue returns!!!!0
