Why do you have to call it a complaint rrickyuk which is very negative; discussing or pointing out isn't complaining.. I was asking nicely and said in my posting that it is VERY hard to find them once they are in game over the usual way of finding doesn't seem to work and I cannot see that it would make any difference moving them a day later as it is the same amount of work for the hard working moderators who are all :A
It was a joke - people usually complain in the other direction. No offence was meant, hence the laughter icon.
Point taken that it was not a complaint.
No system will please everybody; it is best to fit in with the system than make it fit in with us, however.
Sometimes, comps are not picked up until later in the day - it does depend on when a BG has the time.Al Mac Appreciation Society No. 188

Another method you can use for finding comps that end on a particular day is to do a couple of searches using Google or another search engine using each of the following:
"E:01/09" site:moneysavingexpert.com
"E:1/09" site:moneysavingexpert.com
This method will find the comps for the dates you have selected whether they are in Competitions Time Forum, or even the Game Over & Regular Competitions sub forums.
Please note, this is a good way to find comps that end on the date searched, Please be aware though, that it will bring up all comps including those that ended in previous years!
Taken from VelvetGlove's Comping Guide - I use this when the comps have been moved early to Game Over - and yes it does bring up previous years comps, but the links take you to the thread on MSE and its easy to then look at the date of posting to see this. I agree that once moved to Game over the search isnt quite so easy... so as I say I use this method and its really good. Hope this is helpful.0 -

I seem to have confused things. I was referring to the More advanced section with e.g. 1 What do I do if I see a comp which has already been posted on here? / How do I send a merge request to a Board Guide?
which is post 5 (#5) here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=12237951&postcount=5xxx

Won a prize in the 'WOOLWORTHS SUMMIT' comp, got the winning TXT on 11th December so I do understand there is time for it to arrive yet but with it being Woolworths I'm worried it won't ITMS - it's a game I know my DD will love too. Am I being worried for nothing do you think?2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0

Wouldn't you be inundated with emails though? I find it easier to save a thread in favourites if I'm waiting for a response or something.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams
