I often find that people will post that a comp is a duplicate or has ended and do not PM a BG (or at least do not say that they have PMd a BG)

If you don't do 1, then the post might not get moved to game over for days, or even weeks.

There are reasons for this

1) The board guides aren't super human, although they do try.
2) They don't read every thread, every day.

I find just PMing the board guide to say its finished is as good to save bumping the competition to the top again (for someone else to then post on it too agreeing that it has closed:D)

This is a silly question but if I PM a board guide do I include a copy of the link? I've always been a bit frightened to do this before just incase I got it wrong.
