cananyone help

my partner has disappeared and I am trying to find out what has happened,
she has been very distant lately and we both have gone through some financial struggle which got us both down.

I have looked for clues and had a look on our computer and this website is in the history s favourites which I havn't added.
in our inbox this site says she has subscribed but she has changed the password on her email account which is fair enough.

I just want to know that she is ok.

Have you reported her missing to the police?
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
  • ive sent loads of texts saying pleasejust let e know u are ok, her mobile was ringing but it looks like she's switched it off.
the night before we were all cuddled up as normal giggling over a blanket fight so can't understand whats happened.

police say that as she has spoken to them after her mum spoke to her, as she has responded then i can't file a missing person case.

we've been together for about 5 yrs now
  • i just don't know what to do.
I've no idea if sh's left me for someone else.
i've had no responses to any messages.
All her stuff is here untouched.
An her cats that she adores, they are like her children, are now pining for her. She loves her cats so much there is no way she could leave them.

Right she has gone missing , i am assuming you have reported her missing to the police ? , how long has she been gone ? do you have any idea where she is , any way to contact her , by phone etc ??

This bit doesnt make sense to me " in OUR inbox this site says she has subscribed but she has changed the password on HER email account which is fair enough " You say our inbox which suggests you both use the same email account, how have you managed to see that she has subscribed to this site if she has changed the password ?

Sorry to hear of this, little consolation but at least you know she is ok and not a missing person as such.

Meaning you have contacted the police, and they have since spoken to her and verified that she is okay. They are under no obligation to let you know where she is, and as she is an adult, she has a right to walk out if she so wishes. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do at this point. When and if she wants to contact you, she will. If you continue to try and track her down at this point, you run the risk of alienating her as well as looking a bit stalkerish to the police. Sorry, it's frustrating for you, I am sure, but that's all you can do right now.

  • we share a computer, with windows mail. it has 4 accounts, 1 each, one for junk type stuff - ie games sites, 1 for shopping.

I can check email but hers says password wrong so shes probably changed it, fair enough as its her account. her mail goes to her folder and mine to mine using a mail rule.

i found this site as a recent subcribed so wondered what it was thinking she'd met someone online.

Her phone is either off or run out of battery. the charger is here.
Im just at a loss on what to do.

she has not turned up for work either.
  • the police wouldn't tell me what she said, whether she was ok and has just left me or if she is depressed.

its the cat part I don't understand. she loves these cats more then anything me and family included and she'd never abandon them.

The police are not required to tell you what she said. Legally, if she does not want them to give you further info, all they can tell you is that they have spoken to her and that she is okay. That's it. If she tells the police that she is depressed, they will give her info on help available. They won't just leave her to her own devices if she indicates there is a problem.
