I applied for the early bird offer, but I haven't had the letter telling me that the 12 month period starts at the first deposit. The early bird letter said that my FRISA finished on the anniversary of the account opening.
Can I get this changed? What's the best way to get an answer from them?0 -
I sent my application form for the early bird offer last wednesday (I requested the form as I did not receive the original offer when it was sent out in January) and received my confirmation letter today that it will be processed - quite pleasantly surprised that it has happened so quickly- hope you have got yours now
Pleased about that. We got ours earlier this week too.0 -
I took my app form into the branch on 13th feb and asked them to post it internally, got letter today, dated 17th saying my app was successful and the account would start from when the old one matured.
So need to check again when the old one matured as that still seems to be 31st March, rather than 28th April (when first funds deposited), as mentioned in first and only letter from them about the isa.0 -

If you read my earlier posts, especially #176, I have seen Lloyds literature that the staff have, and it clearly states that the Maturity Date of the 2008 FRISA is the anniversary date of when the first funds were deposited..To Dare is To Do:beer:0 -

yes, thanks, i;m hoping its okay, just some people have this SECOND letter confirming the maturity date after the incorrect first letter.
Will have to go into the branch and see what they show as the maturity date and raise a complaint then if needed.
Oh, i also have a barclays tax haven isa for this tax year with 3k in, i may as well transfer this across as the rate is rubbish (2.5%) and i#d then hit the magic 30k with lloyds, do i have to ask for a form in the branch to do this or is there one online?0 -

This is what I told the man at my local branch.....Lloyds have shot themselves in the foot by not producing letters containing correct information, resulting in numerous customers having to visit branches to query the various letters that have been sent out.To Dare is To Do:beer:0 -
My current FRISA matures on the 28th March, and I want to fix for another year (unlucky not to be chosen for the earlybird). Can I fix in advance now, or do I have to wait until it runs out and ring up on the 29th?0
-
My FRISA matures on the 28th April. I will wait until it matures and see what other options are available.
I will also consider at that time whether to top it up with another £3,600 or keep it in a savings account if I can get a better rate, then add it to my ISA this time next year.Mortgage free

I was wondering if they might withdraw it before this date, and would like to fix now. 3.2% on £30k+ isn't bad at the moment0 -
The 6.5% rate was available for quite a time last year. Even if it is withdrawn, I am sure there will be better.Mortgage free
