yes, all as normal chez moi - usual ups, downs & xbf farces :rolleyes: meant to apologize for bizzarre & erratic behaviour when my phone rang last week it was him & i thought it best not to subject you to one of our pointless conversations.

HI peeps

Quick update as manic week for work....

Yesterday the survyeor returned from holiday and agreed to send my response letter from himself (and made minimal changes, just removed a few sentences and beefed a few others up). Thank goodness - hopefully the builders will accept my counter offer with minimal delay and that particular file can now close and a new one for rectification work with the new builder can be opened up.

Have to say I couldn't do anything yesterday while I was waiting for his response - just kept refreshing the email every 15 minutes. And the relief I felt when I got his agreement yesterday afternoon was immense and slightly surprising - couldn;t stop the tears running down my face and now realise just how stressed I have been over the last two weeks about this since receiving the builders letter.:o

So rest of this week is working all the hours to ensure I can bill as much as possible...then up to Manchester for the DFW meet :beer: :T - and next week it's the turn of the Insurance company and loss adjuster

Aunty chev ....I think I need to borrow your siggie for a while! :rotfl:

Lula - no apologies necessary Hun.......ref the telephone calls - have you read Zinc oxides old thread in the Arms - he was being challenged by the DCA's and had some amazing telephone calls with them which are absolutely hilarious.........some good ideas maybe that can be adapted for your particular situation ..
