Tried that on and he shouted at me said he'd get rid of the van and then have no work at all. Then says oh I'll make that up over a few days overtime - which is not really helpful when the main week's money is so far down sometimes that the overtime is only helping us break even!

Evening everyone

Well all is now (relatively) calm chez Wol.

Sorted everything out with solicitors and that is now put to bed til parents come back.:cool:

No nasty replies yet from builders :cool:

Finished another piece of work and billed it - unfortunately because a client postponed yesterday's meeting til march, I didn;t manage to bill as much as I wanted this month (to back up the insurance claim for lost earnings) but at least I got nearly to the target and next month will be brill (and busy ) :j

And
Tomorrow evening I'm starting to wend my way slowly up north to arrive in Manchester for Saturday :j :j :j Wow I'm really looking forward to it even though I shall be driving and therefore off the booze.

So I now have to reclaim the house, do some ironing as I've no clothes to wear, pack (must remember camera to take loads of piccies of the meet) and make sure guineas have all the food and water they require (neighbour will pop in to check them over the weekend).....etc etc

So thanks for your continuing encouragement and support and to those of you going to Manchester - I shall see you there.....and to those that aren't......See you all soon
