Hi All
A Quickie update which should have been posted on sunday.....:o
Stream is fine, flood doors taken down, Grommie is back to his old self :j
Objectives for last week:
Write another letter of complaint to insurance company requesting interim payment rang them instead and got interim payment :T
Raise invoices for billable work to date - done
Sort out all paperwork done and do business accounts ready for 08/09 tax return ooohhh will move this to February
Insulate roof space and book in plumber to fix leaks yep - insulation done and plumber booked for Feb at £230 all in :T :T
Book car in for tyres (as I am now right on the legal limit) oh no I'm not - garage postponed tyre change for another 2000 miles:D
Send off more CV's -3 sent
Get hair done in preparation for job interview.....(more on that next week) and it looks lovely :j
Sort out another 0% BT for outstanding credit card debt (current 0%due to end in March....) only chance is Tescos give me an offer end of this month (which they say is in the pipeline when I rang them) - can;t apply for another card as now self employed and low income
Go to gym at least 3 times....(got to get my money's worth while I'm not working full time) ahhhh...failed miserably - didn;t go once - but have had no booze since previous "grommie nose bleed" monday (bar one glass of wine thursday night)
Also got purchase orders for £1200 of work :T :T
Objectives for this week
Download aplication for lawful development from planning webiste and send to surveyor to prepare drawings (this is the outside works the builders declined to do)
Get quote for blocked guttering
Cost out work and secure purchase orders from two clients
More business development (two potential clients to contact this week)
Complete two business plan asessments (including client visits and write ups) and bill before end of month
Go to gym at least twice (wed and friday mornings )
Secure extension to existing client contract for additional work in Feb/Mar
Make shopping list for friday
Chase up surveyor on friday for progress on negotiations with builders
I think that's all for now - except to say I might go underground again for a bit as it appears tonight I have been given a difficult family matter to deal with over the next few days.. ..
......I will however be back to post February's objectives at the end of the month...
Take care all
Hugs
