When I read your post about your parents moving I thought they were moving to 4 doors from you......rereading it, they are staying on their same street? That will be tough for them too, to see other pepole changing their old family home. They are brave, but in this climate a buyer is not to be sniffed at is it? (even though the whole move is disturbing)

I thoroughly dislike the remote village my parents chose to move to 5 years back, and more so now there is no family nearby.

Thanks for letting me know - I was going to take the flood doors down this afternoon now the majority of rain has fallen (stream is coping admirably well). However if more rain is forecast on top of the already saturated water table then another heavy fall of half an inch or more in a short space of time is usually enought to send it over the top of the banks.....think I'll keep the flood doors up a bit longer

At least they're only moving four doors down - but I can't get over the fact they're off to NZ for four weeks while the sale goes through.......can see it might all end in tears (and Wol receiving late night instructions from NZ to sort it all out ) Ah well, we'll cross that bridge (with or without wellies) etc etc

I just resized it using an old (1999) image software program:eek:
saved it and uploaded it again

On photobucket you can resize pics, just never used it
