There is a massive SC recipe thread on here, I'm sure some kind sole will do the link, no v.good at that!

Once you get in the swing of things, you'll be able to adapt your own recipes, by using less fluid etc.

I've actually got my own Thai Green Curry in my SC at the moment, made with coconut milk, the house smells great, making me starving, so I'm scoffing cake!

No Sunday dinner as I've worked this morning, since 7am, so I chucked the curry in there before 7am, now I can relax, and iron, then just boil rice and warm nann bread later. I've actually made treble of what we need, so will probably freeze the rest, and take some with a jacket pot for lunch tomorrow.

    Happy slow cooking!

The stange way that LX Direct work is that they debit the full amount, and then refund the discount-which is £10.00 in this case- a few days later.

I think everybody who has ordered one off here had had the £10.00 refunded. As the first post is quite old now, the actual price of the slow cooker may have gone up fro £19.99, eg if its £23 now instead, you'll pay £23.00 and get £10.00 refunded.

Think I've just read another post on the Grabbit Board for a 6.5lt SC for £14.99 + VAT at Macro next week, so if you're after a larger one (mind you the 6.5 is huuuuge) that might be a better buy, if you live near a Macro?

I've just ordered mine!! I'm really excited.

My hubby thinks I'm strange as I've become obsessed with the OS board and have even started baking  Unheard of before.

I'm off to check out the SC thread for some ideas, thanks for this OP.
