Mine won't be producing anything until I've been shopping. :o
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

mine arrived today and it is brilliant. I rang the credit card company and yes, they have credited me with the £13.50, so thanks again Toozie.
Does anyone know if I would be allowed to order another one for sil using the same code

No, the code is for first time buyers only, but I wasn't actually one of those. So I ordered in OH name with a different email address, but with the same home address, and it worked a treat.

The one I got has gone to a friend, but I keep thinking if I should get another for an Xmas pressie for SIL?

I did a veggie chilli in my old slow cooker yesterday, with sad looking lonley veg, dry roasted the day before, when the oven was on, tin kidney beans, tin of toms, and some herbs, and loads of fresh chilli. Great smell when I got home, and a nurishing meal on a cold winters night!

  • I've just joined the club!
Went to Asda yesterday as I had the morning off work - wow cant believe how many meats there were reduced down to absolutely nothing! Got a pack of gammon rounds and a bottle of cola (smart price) - and also a joint of silverside, my OH is going to be well impressed! I've nominate you for post of the month, cos I think this is a fantastic deal! Thanks again!
Me debt free thanks to MSE :T

  • They've still not replied to me regarding the refund. I've sent 3 emails, each time I get a reply saying they'll reply within 2 days, then nothing.

I've been searching for a freephone number for you to ring, unfortunately i can only find 08701662215.

If you phone, the code was for first time buyers only if you spent more than £10.00. It came in a LX Direct brochure inside your Sunday paper.

    That's OK. :)

I know you had the best of intentions, but it's against the rules I'm afraid.

Nothing to worry about, honest. :)
