Will that code work with the breadmaker or is it for Slow Cooker only?......I WANT BOTH!!!!!!!! :D

The code works on anything on the LX Direct.com site, once only, for a first time buyer.

  • Is that a big or little pack of mince? How big are the onions? How many mushrooms in a pack, and are they big or small? Mmmm...chick peas, I like those, do they sell them in shops? Is the chilli sauce the only liquid? Any herbs or spices going in there?
    :D

NONE OF THIS MATTERS! You will get different results depending on how you vary the above, and all will be delicious!!! :p

They sell chick peas in shops. You can get dried ones in Indian shops - soak these overnight (and then if you forget them, use them some time in the next 36 hours). They sell tins of c p (no soaking needed) in all supermarkets. Dried ones are cheapest.

N.B. Standard kidney bean warning. You can put your soaked chick peas straight into the slow cooker, but DRIED KIDNEY BEANS MUST BE BOILED FOR AT LEAST 10 MINS AFTER SOAKING - because they are poisonous otherwise!!! Just soaking them and putting them into the slow cooker IS NOT ENOUGH!

Thanks for this. I've been thinking about getting a SC for a while, but couldn't justify the price, should it end up in the gadget graveyard.

Big thanks to Toozie - have ordered this model after deliberating long and hard over the 3.5/6.5 debate.

Decided as this is a bargain, and apparently good quality, to try it, and if we need a bigger one, can either keep this, or pass it on to a friend/relative.

Delivery is scheduled for today, but no one home, so I'm hoping to get it re-scheduled for Friday, but alas I could not get them to change it over the phone........

Does anyone know, if after your first delivery (to your billing address) you can specify a different delivery address, such a as a work one?

    Thanks

Thanks very much for this - just ordered mine! Been umming and ahhhing for weeks about whether to get one - so thought it would be rude not to go for such a bargain!

    Thanks again.
