Bit of a coincidence 2 N.I. people posting at the same time re this- another deal will come I'm sure. I'm in England and have received the S.C. but they've charged me full price! Lx sometimes do this?? Thought I remembered this from before- but perhaps they know this... I haven't purchased anything for 2 yrs maybe, don't get sent catalogues and did open a new a/c. Will email them, if no refund will send back.

I ordered mine today - and then checked my bank account and they have charged me full price!

I called them and they said that the code was valid and what they do is charge the full amount, then refund the discount

I'll keep an eye on my account - in the meantime, when it arrives (should be tomorrow) I'll keep it in it's packaging until the refund shows

Is this right, charging, then refunding

I think I've had this before from them, and I've also had a reply email saying that I will get a refund. It does seem misleading, and I seem to remember having to chase them up for it before. Since the email I'm considering that its mine.

  • Well, I have to say I'm impressed with their delivery - it has just this minute arrived!!!!!!!!

Now, do I open it and get using it (which I really want to do) or do I leave it in it's packaging until I get my refund - because if I don't get my refund I'm sending it back.

Mine's due today..............I'd open it if I was you, check it's all okay and hopefully you won't have to return it.

Can anyone tell us how long it takes for the refund pleae? Thanks.

    EDITED:
Mine arrived 9.30am yesterday morning. I haven't opened it yet and as I paid by c/c I don't know how much they took out of my account! Before I call Mastercard can someone please tell me if the payee is LX Direct or does it come under another name? Thanks.

I'll let you know when my refund appears. Meanwhile I've opened mine and the coconut rice pud should nearly be ready!
  • I got my refund yesterday!! So literally the day after I ordered it - that's good - but I still don't understand why they do it that way

Snap! Just found out the same happened to me. Really weird way isn't it? Don't they get charged for each transaction?

Now going to open it ;) .
