Lobby is now on the hob simmering away (Soappie - it's basically a stew) - now thinking I ought to do something! Everyone else is in bed anyway.

I know it's a bit late for most of you but anyone fancy a HHC 8.45 - 9.15?

I have not touched the list today -I have a stonking cold and have had a meeting after school, so didn't get in until after 5.

However, before school I unpacked, repacked and put on DW, and last night I did clean the family bathroom with Stardrops. Spurred on by the sparkle in the bathroom and the hob, I have wiped out the oven with stardrops (I think I will do this every day until it is clean - not scrubbing for me). Since I've been home I've cooked tea, unpacked and repacked the dishwasher and put all the roasting tins in the sink to soak (with - you guessed it, Stardrops) Oh, and I've sorted the washing into whites and colours.

I can almost see the living room floor, and it can wait until I feel better.

Here's hoping that I don't have to teach a double outside on the farm tomorrow - I taught just one outside today and have been paying for it ever since, with sneezes and chills :(

Right, I'm going for a HHC (or at least to the end of this episode of Buffy - I'm aiming to watch them all before I manage to sell them on ebay :o ) of getting all the stuff out for tomorrow and washing up. I need to remember to put my laptop & charger in so if I can manage it I can get online and do some OU work ;)

Right the list I need to do now:
    • [STRIKE]Write up DD's reading book[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Deal with an ebay sale thats just come through...[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Coats/hats etc out[/STRIKE]
    • Bag ready (diary, pencil case, books, laptop, charger, waterbottle, lunch - or at least some of it, fingerless gloves, little jacket incase I get cold)
    • Put make-up out ready
    • Breakfast dishes out
    • [STRIKE]Clean dishes away[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Wash up[/STRIKE]
    • Get clothes etc out for tomorrow (thin jumper, t-shirt, jeans, boots, earring, necklace, watch)
I think thats it... Then hopefully I can get a bath tonight ;) Ready...steady...*gone*

    Oh blimey.

Have just been into the front room (remember when I bought the new futon etc. and bleached down the wall because of mildew?) Well, there's a bay window which the new futon backs onto. Part of the portion of wall under the window is suddenly very, and visibly and tactiley damp. It certainly wasn't at the weekend.

Now, we've had rain today. Is this a drainage problem, a rising damp problem or an 'oh my god the house is falling down problem'?

Anyone have any clues? And any flylady OS ways of dealing with it?
