  • Hi all - this is my list so far - have been busy all day but don't seem to have achieved much!! More than I would have tho :D

Takes me about half an hour to post so will probably just do lists for the first few days till I get the hang of things.

Thanks for the welcome:smiley: - the reason I came back to the thread again was because I remembered how friendly and supportive everyone is - hopefully I'll stay the course this time - we certainly benefitted from it before.
My trouble is that I'm very easily distracted and spend far too much time on the pc so will have to discipline myself to only check in at certain times:rolleyes:

    [strike]Clear and tidy the mantle[/strike]
    Level Two

Sort through coats and shoes and bag- done a bit of this - finish tomorrow if time:wink:
[strike]Sort through the drawer or cupboard that you stuff junk in![/strike]
    Level Three
[strike]Check smoke alarms.. change any batteries that need doing[/strike] don't know why that changed colour!
    Sort the understair cupboard/mess
    [strike]Dust the flat surfaces[/strike]
    Extras
    1. Make an appointment for some ME-time.. go get your hair done, half an hour shopping, coffee with a friend..
    2. Wash the windows in these rooms
    3. wipe all the stairs edges/spindles/handrails etc up the stairs
    4. [strike]Wash any soft furnishings that are in need![/strike] don't need it at the mo':T
    Have also - WMx3

    S&S kitchen

Will try and get up to date on ironing tonight - gotta pick up DD's from brownies in a minute so quick tidy up/unload DW before I go.
Will post tomorrows list in a minute so I know where I am!
    Catch up later
    J:)

I put lots in and ended up with a wall of bubbles advancing through the room. Please wait for someone who can tell you how much!

I actually got some soda crystals today so there is hope for the oven shelves.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Well my floor needs mopping as well, so would this count as getting too jobs done at once or is that just cheating.

    OK. Not done too badly:

    Monday - living room/hall/stairs

    Level One
[STRIKE]Declutter the living room , hallway and stairs[/STRIKE] No stairs - the hallway is surprisingly up together. I did, however, declutter the hotspot that was developing on the top of the china cabinet thingy in the living room.
[STRIKE]Clear and tidy the mantle[/STRIKE] No mantle :)

    3. [STRIKE]wipe all the stairs edges/spindles/handrails etc up the stairs[/STRIKE] No stairs
    4. [STRIKE]Wash any soft furnishings that are in need![/STRIKE] Did this last week so they're quite up together at the mo
    My list:
    • [STRIKE]Check when the council are doing christmas tree recycling[/STRIKE] I need to remember to put it by the bin NEXT Tuesday - can one of you diarise that for me and remind me at the weekend to move it from the back garden to the front?
    • [STRIKE]PM Flyflo with ideas[/STRIKE] Done - Flylady-Flower - you've got mail
    • [STRIKE]Invoice[/STRIKE] Done
All I have to do now is decide what to cook for my dinner. The kids are getting themselves a chinese so there's only me to do. There's some left over veg from Sunday and Saturday so I might just either make myself a big hearty soup from it all or some sort of bubble and squeak. But then I might not... I shall see.

Depending on what pan you have, wet a sponge and add salt to it then use this to scrub. Do not do this with non stick, I think it would scratch stainless steel a bit but not much.

I use this method to clean cups out too.

Evening all from the sofa where in in my pjs!! ;)

Dinner has been cooked and eaten, washing up done, kitchen floor swept and that's about all i'm doing tonight. Lounge is fine as I only did it Saturday so I'm having the night off! Plan to watch casualty, which I'm doing now, and then do half an hour on the wii fit.

Had a pretty good day today, my first walking group of the year and the walk was lovely, despite me getting wet trialling it in the rain! Had a nightmare journey home though, the dlr train kept stopping outside stations and in the end I missed 2 of my trains home (which are only every 25 mins). So had to hang around at nasty cold station which has nowhere to wait and currently no loo for 25 mins... Oh well, home now - thankfully I left early as came straight from the group so was not actually home later than usual.
