I am afraid to report that I have let the side down today and not done what I should on my list. Alas though the day is not over and I may or may not get something done. I did manage to fill a bin bag but I do not see the point of cleaning any more when no else cares about the state of the house.

What can I use to clean my solid wood table - it has greasy marks on it? Does it need to be waxed? I think the instructions may have said something about that but can't remember :o

  • :grouphug:ZLS1984 - No honey. There is a point, the point is your doing it for you. So that you like where your living, so that if you have friends round your not cringing inside and constantly apologising for the state of the place.

Don't think I don't know what your feeling, I'm a single parent, Have ME, have two SEN children, constantly tired, well I don't need to go on, because I bet you can fill in the rest. Mine don't help either, other that to mess the place up, its totally disheartening. I KNOW. And just in case your wondering, I've done NOTHING today either, to darn knackered. Have you got anyone you can talk to, really talk to?
If you want you are more than welcome to PM me.:grouphug:(thats supposed to be a group hug!!!) (just realised I've used your 'sunday name' IYKWIM):o

Anyway, you have just given me the opening I need to post this OSish joke:

I have found inner peace, The way to do this is to finish the things you start.
I looked around this afternoon at the house and saw the things I had started but not finished....
    So I finished them.....
The vodka, the baileys, some red wine, the ice cream, crisps and the valium. You have no idea how peaceful I feel

ZLS you are not alone ok?!:D
