Ok bit of a problem today as school rang to say DD1 had been sick at 12 so had to dash up there (leaving my cooling lunch  ) so had to deal with her this afternoon. Think she was pulling a fast one as her teacher didn't actually witness the sickness and 2 of her friends had already been sent home sick this morning. She lay down on the couch for about 30 mins then spent the rest of the time playing as normal, very loudly with DD2 . Not much wrong with her me thinks.

Hello, I am joining in again. I gave up on this thread last year because I couldn't keep up with it, but my house and family need me to give it another try!
So I shall start again slowly ( as I have ds3 off school sick, and am not feeling too bright myself ) and with the advance apology that I'm not anti-social but I find it hard to keep up with the speed of what's going on here, hope you all are having a good Mondays flying!

I have been to the gym, filled up on petrol, posted another batch of vouchers (still plenty here!), had lunch, hung up laundry, and now know that I desparately need to declutter my gym bag
My MACAW this week is to start building my evening routine, which includes 3 cardio sessions a week, plus yoga/stretch/pilates classes and getting my meals & gym kit ready for the following day (and to do my physio)i like the chat too- and most of it are great tips and tricks and i pick up lots of things to do differently or some i haven't even thought about before!
mOZzy - Pigpen may have to clarify what's meant by chat, but I think things like discussions as to the best way to deal with decluttering, cleaning the oven etc are constructive and helpful and contribute towards the flying.
It may also help if people (like me) who are often out for the day write their feedback in a single multi-quote post rather than lots of little ones (so I'll try to do this in future) as it makes the thread shorter. Also saving congrats/good vibes/birthday wishes for when we've got other things to say.
But I know it's also important to keep the HHCs/HHIs going, posting the results and commenting on how other people are doing, asking for and giving tips.
I don't think there is a huge amount of chat on here, as it the majority of discussion is around flying/decluttering/moneysaving, and there certainly isn't the aggression you find on other threads - although it may be that we need to post links to other threads if we know the answers are there, rather than repeating things. It's always possible to edit/delete posts if you decide they aren't relevant after all, or want to add to an existing one rather post another short one.
Pigpen - if I'm wrong on this, let me know and I'll edit/delete the post as appropriate, but I think some people may have been overly sensitive about what constitutes chat!0 -
Any tips on flying when you have some-one working from home?
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Well done Oddjob... that's the kind of post that makes me feel competitive (it's either that or demoralised).
For those of you with an eye on your energy consumption, its time to think about closing your blinds and curtains (and clearing things out of the way if they're stopping you closing them properly!)0 -

Moam
MOAM I found it so hard to settle to flying when DH was working at home, I don't know why as he stayed in his office most of the day. I guess the best tip would be to concentrate on the lists (pigpens) or yours. Good luck. Have you done your ebay listing yet?
Just got in from work, finished my cuppa so going to do HHC 16:15-16:45 before doing tea.
Flower - difficult on the smell - when my carpet had a smell - spilt tea which was not cleaned up properly - I used a neurogena (I think) power a bit like shake and vac and it worked well but not sure it would work on laminate - pots of bicarb in the room corners? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
