which makes me think he is trying to con me, if he wanted a refund that bad why bother relisting the item... i know it worked my son was playing it till thursday this week.... will ringing paypal help at all ! !0 -
Leave him positive feedback, linking him with you, then his feedback left for others with be more visible. Bet he won't get any takers then as they see he's trying to sell it on.
Could be he's trying to sell it on though as you've refused to refund him, and he's trying to cut his losses.
(Don't think it's typical of all new ebayers though, we all have to start somewhere.)0 -
Seems odd why he would buy a ps2 and then sell another one assuming he had another one
He claims he is selling because he now wants a ps3
No feedback for the user0 -
I would just tell paypal everything and they normally ask for the item to be returned, so if he dont have it your fine and it will be seen in your favour. Paypal have to be provided with a tracking number or signature for them to refund the buyer..... you should be fine0

Have you told paypal that he is selling your one?
Also, try and speak to a supervisor/manager rather than the numpty you'll first get.0 -
Not exactly a new ebayer, been registered nearly 5 years, just no track record. Perhaps he has done this many times before?0

What with the combined Ebay/Paypal charges, it's generally become a pointless exercise that just makes money for them and leaves the seller totally vunerable to a dishonest buyer.
You're stuffed, Ebay/Paypal won't be bothered - they've got their cut already and therefore you're just a nuisance. Best write the loss off and join us in the ex-Ebay Seller crowd.
...I still buy stuff from eBay - but then I know that I am an honest British person who traded openly using my own name and that I'm some-one could not bear the thought of anyone thinking I'd ripped them off.
