sold ps2 is buyer pulling a fast one !! dispute raised

i sold a ps2 on ebay (to a new buyer) it was in working order.

he has now logged a dispute with paypal saying the item does not work and wont read cds.(i think he means the games)

i am refusing to refund, but paypal have put my funds on hold.
but the buyer is now re-selling the item and there is no mention of it not working , is he trying to pull a fast one and just get a refund do you think !!

what can i do as i know paypal very often decide in the buyers favour !!!

this is the item he is selling 130280531406 which is the item i sold him which apparently dont work ! !

i dont want to do that, as it worked fine on thursday when i packaged it up to send to him, i think he trying to send me another one..... will paypal use evidence that he reselling it with no mention of it being broken in my favour do we think ??
  • Paypal will not be interested in anything but the tracking number of a parcel returned to you. It could have a brick in it.

Pretty much just another case of a seller having to bend over and think of England

I am sad to say that I genuinely think you are screwed :(

How much did it sell for? Maybe you can put in a claim for damage with RM, I mean if he is telling the truth, and so are you, then it could have been damaged in transit.

should i just let paypal sort it out, or tell him to post back !!!
i know the serial number and the markings my ps2 had on it... or should i email him asking for the serial number and photos etc, so i can see if he has opened it, as he claims it has internal damage which makes me think he as opened it up
