    Hi Josie,

Wow sounds like you do know how to shop!!

I like shopping here but the thrill of wearing a size 2-4 in the US soon wore off - everyone is sooo tiny in NY I felt huge and didnt want to buy anything...

Anyway £600 seems cheap for a radisson and flights! I'm going again in October (April trip is already booked) so if you can post the link to that cheap deal I'll have a look for then! :D

Just read through the entire thread. A couple of posts refer to MAMO, can someone help me out with what that is?

    Thanks

No idea, but MOMA is Museum of Modern Art.

  • I am flying back Delta from NYC and wondered what the bar(s) are like seeing as we will have an hour or two to spare. Is it worth/possible to pay for entry to the Delta lounge for the complimentary drinks??

Worth a visit for the roof garden. If you're lucky, you'll be able to see the photos we took up there here, here, here and here.

The first two were sculptures which looked like ginormous modelling balloons.

I'm not sure if you'll need a Facebook account to view them - maybe somebody who hasn't got one could let me know because DH thinks he's left it public?

Gosh, you got the lot, did you? Oh dear, didn't intend THAT to happen! You'll know what we all look like, although the long-haired boy is now shorn.

Anyway, no, the fair is not Coney Island, but Wildwood, where we went afterwards. I'll see if DH can caption them, or show me how to.

PS some of them are captioned - but they are in a VERY strange order!

I'm all booked up to go to NY at Easter and being a shopper, I am wondering whether the shops may be closed over this period? Also, as I am travelling light, I was thinking of posting my purchases home so that I don't have to lug them around on my last day. Is there anything I need to know?
    cheers
