Look on the bright side you dont need to give your partner a finger ring.

Thanks (?) for the reply. I know you are just bein daft but it's really not much a laugh for him having lost his finger in a gross accident with a band saw - my question was serious as he is embarrased by it

play around and get used to expedia or lastminute.com put in things you want to be close to or prices/ /stars dates check out the good looking hotels that you fancy on trip advisor (people rated hotel info) a good source for honest answers. Dont need to be right next to anywhere in Manhattan as the whole area is easy to get around above or below ground. Cheapest stays are often by the airport or well out of town but they are a hell of a distance away so dismiss them Once you have found a few ask again The cosmo / affinia 50 and pod get a mention here at least once a month but thats not a reccomendation i stayed in times square but possibly stay elsewhere next time closer to central park or TriBeca

Greenface - just cause Marky's away doesnt mean you can take over in sarcasticness!!!

Loving the crazy posts you obviously were rather drunken last night - I wonder if MSE should have a function like Google does when I'm drunk (you know the addition thing) ;)

LMS - Virgin were doing cheap flights the other day...always worth a check on skyscanner or whatever that things called :D
