Yep wanted to show the whole trip, and the food was good, hence the pic,, As I said, I went click mad...(but love my new camera... lol )

Mines only a year old so no issue for me.

The key question is whether it is machine readable, I don't think it has to be bio-metric yet. I think our airline had a link to information about this, so worth trying them. Or google machine readable passport. I think what you are describing is m-r. Also I've just had renew mine, and it was OK last summer for USA.

The recent change is that you have to register online before you get on your flight, I think it's four days. Again, your airline should have information.

I'm just back from my 1st trip to NY and loved it

The highlight of the trip was something I read on here. Sister-in-law was 50 and we had her name up in lights in Times Square. Go to the Hershey shop, hands over $5 plus tax and have a message displayed for 15 minutes. Really easy and a fabulous surprise.

Thanks to whoever posted this and I hope many others see this and do also!!!!!
