Care when trying to book TOTR online. Its very common for non-US credit cards to be declined. I repeatedly tried this and then contacted TOTR and they said their system is extra-sensitive with the details you put in, so if your credit card account maybe is recorded say as W Sussex for your address, but you type in West Sussex, it'll be declined. Gave up in the end, got online voucher and will buy my ticket in person NEXT WEEKEND!!!0

TOTR tickets are $21 each in person, $28 if you want to go sunrise or sunset.
Or at least they were 3 weeks ago.
While you're in the area, don't forget to visit the Burger Joint in Le Parker Meridean hotel nearby. Best bugers in NYC!0 -
Thank you for the advise - i am partial to a good burger!

For me the best burgers are:
Blue Smoke
Shake Shack, ya need 2 as they are on the small side
Texas BBQ
Mmmmmm yum a lum!!!!Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
We missed Shake Shack, i was gutted as i really wanted one!
Burger Joint was awesome though. The setting makes it so much better, hidden away in a a little alcove.0 -

Only thing about Le Parker Meridien's Burger Joint when we were there was that the queue was quite long and slow moving - also not many places to sit, and we wanted somewhere to sit for a while to recharge the batteries, so went to Heartland Brewery on 51st and had a Bison Burger and a Cookie pie instead!0

As I have less than a week to go, I am now officially allowed to start counting the hours!
This time next week, (nearly 4pm in NYC) Lion King will be but a distant memory and I'll be getting ready to see Hair, and yes I will be running on stage at the end!!!
Will obviously post when I get back but, if I'm not about in the next few days, then thank you so much to everyone on here for the advice, tips, debates, arguments, and random bits.
and marky, I know you're lurking still, take care.
