Got back from New York last night and had a brilliant time - never done so much walking in my life so make sure you have a REALLY comfy pair of shoes!

Well I'm having to postpone my trip to New York
my OH still hasn't got his visa and the chances are very slim to non so I have to postpone I'm so gutted

Can you not go and get one in person at the embassy in London?? Might be worth ringing them to find out if they can do that...
(got my visa for Aus that way the third time I went as it hadnt arrived and they had a huge backlog so I went along in person and waited all day and finally got one)

No because we went for the interview at the embassy nearly 2 months ago and because of the type of criminal record he has he got refered to Homeland security which they were supposed to contact us within 6-8 weeks and but what they failed to tell us is that it takes 15 working days to process the visa so we're screwed

No it doesn't cover for not getting your visa it's only if I die or something like that :rolleyes: The best thing I can do is postpone it till next christmasI booked this in July too :mad: I don't understand what is taking so long its either a yes or a no simples :mad:

I know it sounds rough but instead of wasting all the money you have paid i cant remember if your going just the two Can you not go without him ? also if they cannot pass him this time "in Time" will they pass him in time next time ??
