I am also going in April and I have got New York Passes for all four of us (two adults two kids) They have been recommended to me by several friends. They arrive with a great little book with all the details of which attractions they apply to (almost everything!) and I worked out that in just half a dozen venues we have got out money's worth. Plus, you can do all of the attractions each day, do if you really wanted to you could go up the ESB 7 times in the week! LOL
Thanks for that. Where did you book them from? NY Pass website?
Hope you have a good time! :j0 -

Leeds - living up to your username there! I've been to a great night at Coco's in Camden that look similar - loads of fun
So this got me wondering - what's you guiltiest pleasure when you visit NY? Doesnt have to be naughty a la the Slipper room...
Mine is sooo abusing the American thing of buying girls drinks (I even get them bought for my friends by the guys trying to chat me up)0 -

Just wondered what people's opinions and experiences are of the various New York passes. There seems to be so many and some seem a little misleading.

There are around 5 attractions that I want to see that are covered by the Explorer Pass http://www.explorerpass.com/newyorkcity/index.html
What are your opinions guys and dolls?
**UPDATE**
Just brought the Explorer Pass from Attraction Tix for only £57, which I'm really chuffed about and a few of the 5 I want to see cost $39.99 so will be getting my money's worth. They also have the New York pass for £43 which seems quite a good price for anyone looking. Oh nearly forgot and 6% Quidco back too.

Has anyone seen any movie shoots or even bumped into anyone famous in NYC? In all the years I certainly have seen my fair share of movies being filmed and many famous faces... (I just love movies..

Hey its a pretty cool place and mad as hell. It makes us British look very tame!
I have to say my guiltiest pleasure has to be eggs, eggs, bacon, pancakes, maple syrup, eggs, large coffee's, mmmmm. I was so sick by the end of the holiday and had to breath in to the point of passing out to do my jeans up. Thankfully I have now got back to my normal size and feel sick at the sight of a pancake!
Mark you must go to the slipper room! Everyone must! Its such an experience! I thought I was quite open minded until I saw their late show, I felt so prim and proper and rather shocked! Its not for the faint hearted.
Becky- I think I was approached on the subway due to the fact I had a butterfly painted on my face, I stood out like a sore thumb. I honestly thought no one would blink in New York but I did get approached quite a lot, and sung to on two occasions! Oh and if you make me go jogging in the morning on our group trip ill cry and vomit on your shoe.0
