    I got the impression that a 2nd bag was free on Delta, glad I didnt take one now.
  • I'm flying with delta, Might aswell just pay the extra $50 for the second case.

  • Im flying with ba and im totally confused about the baggage allowance and excess baggage rates. Im allowed 23kg and 2 bags, doe that mean 23kg each bag? im confused!

    It did used to be that you could take two bags however now only one free.

    If you booked before May 23rd it is also FREE for a second bag. If you booked after May 23rd its $50 per bag........

    They keep changing the date though. I booked my flights May 2nd and then the 2nd bag rule was already on-If you booked before April 22nd or something however now changed to May 23rd.
    Im going to check again thought just before I travel but I dout date will change again.

    World Traveller Plus and World Traveller: Two standard-sized bags

  • Thanks phatbear, just rang ba who confirmed that im allowed 23kg in EACH bag!! (max 2 bags) That means i can bring back 46kgs! wohoo!!

    I believe this changes at the beginning of October with World Traveller's only being allowed one bag - if you've booked before this changes then you still get 2 bags.
