Sorry you didn't have much to go on there!
Hubbie LOVES the pixies so just looking for that now. I'd quite fancy Royksopp too...
Getting excited now!
Very stupid question - do ticketmaster send the tickets to me in England? Or pick up in NY?
too many comps..not enough time!0 -

well, pixies and royksopp are on the same date, so you're gonna have to pick which one you want..
No.. ticketmaster.com will not send tickets, and as you've got a UK address, you'll choose the Will Call option, and you just present your credit card you paid with, and you can then collect your tickets when you're about to go in..
Not a bad pick though from me, with hardly anything to go on.. i've even impressed myself..0 -
I'm very impressed! Just been speaking to DH apparently he had googled NY gigs today and saw that the Pixies were playing, but didn't know if I would want to go or not so didn't say anything (bless him).
He saw them a few years ago in Mcr and they're one of his favourite bands ever - will def have to book this tomorrow.
Thanks so much for your help, can't wait for our first NY trip

Really excited - have just booked my flights at long last (been trying to since January).
I ended up paying more than i wanted unfortunately (that will teach me to be hesitant) but at least are booked so im definetly going.
One question thats bothering me though...I booked with Delta (never flewn with them before) - i remember reading on here a while back that they have free alcaholic drinks on board although when booking i was told that they charge for them as im an economy seat and not first class (boo hoo) - Is that correct?0 -
I know you used to get one free drink but I thought they'd changed it to all free - or was that continental - I got one free one in Jan anyway on Delta with my main meal0
-
Excellent - i was hoping that would be the case0

Check with Marky - am sure he'll know for sure0

Well, in March is was one free drink, according to their website, it's all free now in economy, but, to be 100% sure, i'll ask for a drink next friday and see what happens... fingers crossed it is free...0

You'll be in trouble if it isnt Marky
Ooo and I've been given soft notice that I'll be off to DC in April next year (i.e. Its likely I'll go but I cant book anything yet)...anyway so flights to from DC from London will be paid for so I can tag a trip on to NY - the bus is $20 am I right in thinking it takes 5 hours each way? That doesnt seem too bad at all considering the flight charges - Marky how much were your internal flights in the end?0 -
Pixies are sold out I think, can't find any tickets on ticketmaster
