  • Cheers for a great report!

For Top of the Rock, is it cheaper/advisable to book tickets in advance? Or just get them on the day?

I think its a bit cheaper to book in advance but both times I've been I've just picked them up on the day (no queues :D) for $20 each

    Mortgage-free Glee!
i think we got a family ticket for about $50 (£25) feb 2007 we have a wheelchair user and they shuffled the papers around for about 20 seconds and said $50 so just be cheeky and make fresh conversation before asking to work out the best price for us as a group (family)then smile. May work.
TOTR is much better than ESB more room better views less crowded
as for the £340 limit i totally forgot about that ooops sorry will they accept a a back dated cheque:o
 hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world

i dont think its cheaper and from what iv heard the queues are not that big comapred to the ESB, however if you google "top of the rock discount voucher" and print these off, they give you a few $ discount, better than nothing!

Waxie, that was a lovely report.Tell me, was using the subway to get to your hotel, as simple as it sounds as I'm planning next August already and may consider this.We stayed in new jersey (which was 15 mins by bus from port authority) as money wise I was not finding anything with a pool that was a suite for 5 in my price range. Next year, we probably eill stay in manhattan as the kids probably used the pool 3 times out of a 9 day stay:rolleyes:

Thanks traveller..the subway is on 72nd Street and we was on 75th...that might sound a fair distance...two minutes would be about right if you fancied an ice cream on the way...less if you didn't :)

by the way that subway (1, 2 and 3 red) goes straight through all the attractions or a short walk from it
