    Hi all!!!

I'm now planning a romantic valentines trip for the OH - it would also be our first anniversary of being engaged.

Looking at finding a lovely romantic restaurant for Valentines day itself.
I'm not sure what to do - whether it be a nice restaurant with a view, somewhere fancy (famous or whatever) or possibly a dinner cruise!

I would opt for an indoor restaurant as it could be quite cold in February, we went in March a few years ago and there was still snow on the ground.
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.

Yeah indoor is what I'm looking for. I know how cold it can get over there at that time (parents went during blizzard few years ago that time).

I was looking at the one at The Mandarin Oriental - Asiate. Looks nice!

Elio's sounds lovely, and we love italian food :D

Gramercy Tavern also looks very nice and romantic

There's so much to choose from and It's a matter of looking about to see what there is to offer. People's experiences are also good to hear about.

We ate at The View last November. The food was fantastic, the Brooklyn beer was very good, the staff were very professional and the view ...well ...awesome.
It was our 25th anniversary and although not cheap for that one off special occasion it suited us very well.
I had been 10 years earlier with work and the return was just as good as I had remembered.

I really like the idea of The View

But then I heard quite alot of bad reviews about it so I have been looking around at other places.

I'm still keen on The View though

Top of the Rock is a must!! I loved it! the whole viewing area is better - less crowded more space to move, with both the lower and upper viewing levels
