Well I think the ticket booths look good, but the only problem is they arent guaranteed to have tickets to every show going (So I've heard) - So this way at least I know they are booked, and we've saved $35 a ticket.

If you're looking for the ultimate sushi then surely we are talking Nobu??

But there was a place by my hotel on West Side I am sure...hmm possibly Asia Kan??

I like my sushi and while I saw a good few places about none of them looked sushi specific to be honest - more just Japanese...are you set on sushi? You'd get some fabulous Asian food in Chinatown :D

    *does a happy dance*

Just booked tickets to see Super Furry Animals in Hoboken, NJ while i'm across in NYC...

my itinerary for the evenings seems quite full.. check this out.

Friday (day I land) an evening in Brooklyn, including beers at Brooklyn Brewery
Saturday - Super Furries in Hoboken
    Sunday - Bar Hopping
Monday - LAA @ NYY in the Bronx
Tuesday - Miike Snow / Jack Peñate @ Mercury Lounge
Wednesday - Little Boots @ Bowery Ballroom
    Thursday - Bar Hopping
    Friday - Go Home.

so with 8 weeks to go on friday, before I actually go on holiday, I've nearly sorted out my evenings entertainment.

So, nights out in Brooklyn, Bronx, Jersey, and Manhattan, I really should visit Queens shouldn't I?

    Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Iv just found out from a friend that you can get same day tickets for broadway shows half price from Duffy Sq ticket booth, as i asked him the details looking to book some online as well as he goes twice a yr.

Im going in Sept staying in the Helmsley (42nd) and have just bought tickets for the Yankees, booking this far in advance makes it more exciting!

Actually - If he gets a website, if you could let me know, that'd be fab, coz we're thinking about going to see Wicked now as well - I've found some decent tickets but they're $160 each, so any saving would be a bonus!!

    Hiya
I'm looking for sushi really, I love it, but my sister has never tried it, so I'd like to go somewhere that does good sushi for both of us! To be honest, although I've heard of nobu, I didnt know it was a sushi place...
It doesnt have to be sushi specific, but def somewhere we could get some good sushi :)

Check out the reviews for Asia Kan and see if you think its worth a trip up to UWS...

Sure there will be something near your hotel though - you could ask when you get or try searching on top table...

It depends with airline whether you have complimentary alcoholic drinks. Soft Drinks are always free.

Delta have recently changed their policy, because back in march is was $7 a drink, and the previous march $5 a drink, so this time, i must ensure I drink enough to get back what I paid for previous cans of beer... haha :D

Am i allowed to say that anywhere in Manhattan itself is pretty central?
They keep changing there poilcy on the 1 bag rule.

For travel from europe: when i booked my ticket on may 5th 09 if you have booked before April 09 then get 2 bags, then when i checked a few weeks ago it said if you booked before May 22nd 09 i think it was, then allowed 2 bags. Just checked now and it doesnt even mention travel from europe only within the USA and talking about booking before April 2008.

So i think its now changed back again to being able to check in 2 bags free of charge if your from europe?? and this 2nd bag charge is only for travel within usa now?

Thats how its looking to me ( unless it changes again)
