Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -
I wanted to ask a question re theatre tickets... best to buy when there or online here before i go?0

Personally I would buy before you go ive used broadwaybox.com before, and it gets a lot of positive reviews, for discount tickets.
The other alternative is go to the TKTS booth/s however this means lining up and their is no guarantee that will have the tickets to the shows you want.
At least if you pre-purchase you can plan around the show.Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
thanks phatbear, ive looked at lion king which is 121.00 dollars each plus charges on ticketmaster. I was trying to recall last time i went and saw avenue q buying tickets from tkts booth how much it was they were 7 rows back good seats around 60 dollars i think , unsure tho
And as you say id to queue up all afternoon0 -
Hi
Me and my other half are planning to go to New York for a few days in late Sept.
We obvously want to do it in a Money Saving way but all internet searches on cheap flights and cheap packages etc leave us worried about the locations we might be staying in. It feels like we need some expert, travel agency advice on the cheap.
Anyone been to NY and got any tips? We want to stay somewhere central and safe but apart from that can be fairly flexible on exact dates and where we fly from.
Appreciate any advice.
Cheers0 -
thanks for replies..i know wot flights are available and transfers etc with virgin, its just the hotel in NY i wasnt sure of..will have a read at reviews and stuff then book in morning...Hotel in vegas is gonna be the ballagio.0

Kim, I'm looking at the lion king aswell and, it seems safe to say, tickets for it are never available from tkts. So its a once-in-a-lifetime trip so going to bite the bullet and book with ticketmaster.0 -

the thirty thirty hotel is a debatable one. Some say it's actually an illegal hotel operating in NYC, but it is there. It used to be a womens shelter, and it's over time been coverted, btu there are still some people living there under the original building terms and conditions.0
