Hiya
I'm off to NYC next week and about to book a hostel, (as the person i was meant to stay with stopped taking my calls, oh well lol.)
Could anyone possibly recomend a good value for money hostel? i would appreciate it.
thanks0 -
phone a average hotel and ask whats the best they can do or look on laterooms (see whats around) could be lucky they would rather have room full than empty other sites available:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

I was looking at Chelsea Star for a while earlier in the year - it has reasonable reviews and is clean at least, but didnt go in the end so not sure how nice it is...0

Very good deal on travelzoo.com on their US site. Brand new Four Points by Sheraton Times Square (it's on 40th street) for $115 plus taxes, that's less than £100 per night!!! I've just booked it for September and its $404 for 3 nights including taxes.0

Hello!
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of booking with https://www.bestatnewyorkcitybreaks.co.uk (best at new york city breaks) - either good or bad reviews.
They seem to offer good prices compared to other sites but i've not heard of them. Any help would be great.
Thanks in advance0 -
Manhattan is GREAT location... there is no such thing as a BAD location in Manhattan. .
anyway.. on a happy note, i've finally got my flight booked, kinda annoyed to be honest with delta, as their website wouldn't let me book another flight, but thankfully, got direct both ways, for under £400.
Not the price i want to pay, so I'm down to a 3* price for this flight, but when i DIDN'T have the money ready I could have nabbed it for £345, but hey, such is life..
Now time to organise booking the hotel and car parking in the UK, etc

So are you going via MAN or Heathrow??0
-
You not staying at the Cosmo then Marky?0
-
Yup.. flying direct from MAN... could have got a lot cheaper from LHR, but can't be arsed with the 4 hours drive on the way back...
as for Hotels...
I've booked
11th - 14th Sept - Le Jolie Hotel, Brooklyn, NYC ($119 a night ex tax)
14th - 18th Sept - Cosmopolitan Hotel, Tribeca ($189 a night ex tax)
All booked.. just need to sort out my car parking pre payment malarky0
