Artydoll, well done on the beautiful blanket. I love the colours, they remind me of warm shallow waters. I am SO impressed with the speed you've worked at, it would have taken me months!

    Thank you for the link.

I bought a hook and some dishcloth cotton (as well as some bamboo yarn :o) this morning and am off to try and learn.
I did a few of these when I first started crochet, they were very easy although I never have as much luck getting crochet hats to turn out the right size, but as long as they are not too big baby wil grow into them

Do you use any special kind of hook with your oa? I've just been diagnosed with oa in my wrists and I'm finding I have to stop quite often, although the hook i'm using at the moment really isn't very good, I think I got it free with a mag but it was the only 4mm one I could find. I've been thinking about getting a few of the clover 'soft touch' hooks but it could work out quite expensive for a few!

I use a normal hook ,most of my finger joints are swollen and bent ,but my wrists are ok :T:T touch wood,so I dont find it too difficult at the moment, doc says to keep using my fingers as much as possible.
Sometimes my fingers go a bit numb and I have to stop for a while
i cant hold heavy objects ,but my hooks are ok,LOL:D:D

I've started crocheting egg cozies for Easter, didn't have any eggs at home to display it on so I used my egg timer :)

Love that egg cosy. At the moment I'm after ideas for using up small amounts of yarn to make into pressies. Will put that on my list,

    love the egg cozy!

Im working on my star afghan (which is looking fab, btw!) but the corners are curling up. Should I wait until Im done and block it, which Ive never tried before, or is there soemthing I can do in the meantime?
