and was wondering if it would work with Rowan Bamboo Tape here: http://www.kempswoolshop.com/wool_details.aspx?selectedItemID=137015296

I really love the colours and obviously it's a great price!

    Thank you :D

Wow, that is a great price! I'm going to check if they have anything else which is so cheap! I'm desperate to crochet something else, but just can't afford the yarn (and I want cotton, bamboo or soya which is always expensive)

    Hi All,

Been MIA for a few days as lots of family things going on but I have managed to complete my slippers. Yeh:j they are very basic and when I wear them I can see quite a few mistakes but I love them. My DH says I look like a pixie:rotfl: as they point up at the toes but I don't care.

I would really love to make lots of squares for a blanket but I am struggling to find a really simple pattern, any ideas? The ones I have tried always go wrong. I seem to be much better at straight rows :o

I will post a pic as soon as I work out how to :rotfl:

Julie love those slippers, will look for the pattern.

keza well done with the blanket, it looks like a box of jewels.

A young friend of ours told us last night that she is expecting her second child. Now I have two pink and white blankets ready and waiting so if it's a girl....., But she thinks it will be a boy. Does this give me an excuse to go and buy blue yarn to make a boy blanket? I'm supposed to be only using up my stash, but then I would need something for a pressie. Ooooh I feel a visit to the wool shop coming on.

    Yes Bella, perfect excuse :D

I finally finished the booties, they took more time than anything else I have ever made, I kept getting two different sizes and thought if I carried on I should end up with a pair at some point. Nope! in desparation tried another pattern yesterday and two perfectly matched booties :j

Have now started some squares, the wool and the hook seem sooooo big after the baby stuff but I want something easy to do in the car while we are travelling this weekend, I hate travelling and can be a bit of an eeeeeek! what was that, we're going to fast, so crocheting takes my mind off it and keeps OH happy :j

Love seeing the things you have all made, gives me inspiration
