artydoll thank blanket is looking a treat - well done.

I'm on a real roll with my ripple crochet - two pink and white baby blankets done and a blue and white one just started.

I've also nearly finished a multicolourd square blanket using up the smallest bits of yarn so it's cost nothing.

I've unearthed a bag full of fine crochet cotton and am working on ideas of making this into pressies.

Just as soon as I get my lap-top back I'll be having a try at posting pictures - dying to share my efforts with you all,

    Bella.

    Hello! :)
I'm expecting a baby girl in 6 weeks' time and have seen some gorgeous crochet beanie hats...are beanie hats hard to crochet?
I'm into other crafts but have never tried crochet.

    thanks

I made this for a friend's baby and was delighted with how it turned out. I know it's knitted and this is a crochet thread, but hey we're all multi-talented right?!

I did a few of these when I first started crochet, they were very easy although I never have as much luck getting crochet hats to turn out the right size, but as long as they are not too big baby wil grow into them

    Hi Artydoll

I've been following the progress of your bedspread, it really is lovely. It doesn't seem to have taken you very long to do it! I started a crochet bag last weekend, it's only going to be small and I'm still only half way through it.

    I really am in awe!

Glad you like it, it's sweet isn't it! I've made it into a strawberry one too by embroidering black seeds on it (though I later found there are proper patterns for strawberry ones).

Here is the pattern http://www.knitlist.com/96gift/giftapplehat.htm (Yes I know it should be on the knitters thread!)
