I forgot to say....
I've bought loads of yarn on ebay, just for my latest project.
Which is a granny square blanket.
Trouble is, I spend too much time on here!

Mine too! Looks nice and clear, loads of different stitches to learn, I'm going to be absorbed in it for ages now trying them all out!Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
This is the start of my blanket. I have finished 100 squares (so it's 10sq x 10sq atm) and I think it needs making up to 12sq x 12sq to look right and then I shall add a border. Not sure what yet, playing it by ear.
It's my first serious attempt at crocheting and I'm really quite proud. I've knitted for years and years (since I was about 8 so about 27 years!) and the penny has never dropped about crocheting until recently when I suddenly 'got' it."A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

Dazi that baby cape is beautiful
pollyskettle what a beautiful blanket.
I have finished my pink and white 'ripple' baby blanket now and am very pleased with it. I wish I could post a piccy but have never done it before and as I am not using my own lap-top at the moment and this one is very tempermental, I don't want to mess. Might give it a try when I get my own lap-top back.

Thank you
I'm pretty proud of it! I've used mostly Rowan wool, but also used up a few other ball ends of other stuff I've had left from other projects. I am adding another 44 sq and making it 12 x 12, I've decided - will play it by ear after that.
