I just found it this morning. I think I'll give it a go later on and see how I get on.

Well I've had a go at it, but I can't fathom out how to do it properly. A bit more practice I think.

I've finally finished half of my summer granny square throw/blanket. 50 squares down, 50 more to go + the edging. Eeep!

I had it out of an old book I have,its called,The Complete encyclopaedia of stitchcraft,by Mildred Graves Ryan
It gives you lots of crochet stitches,loads of different knitting patterns,just gives the amount of stitches to cast on to do each pattern
it also has macrame,sewing embroidery and tatting,so one book does all
My edition was published in 1981,so I,ve had it a fair while.
