Lovely job Pink Numbers:T I'm planning one of those when I've finished my blanket. I want something nice to keep my yarns in.0

oh Pink-numbers that bag is gorgeous - very well done! I've started a bag myself - well that is I started a cushion cover then decided I liked the design and the colour but NOT as a cushion, so have decided to turn it into a bag. I find this often happens to me with crochet. Just before Christmas I was making an amigurumi small organ grinders monkey from a chart on the internet, but couldn't get the hat right (it was a fez but kept ending up like a bobble hat
) - it finished up as a completely different sort of monkey with long gangly arms and legs (the original had no limbs just a head and body) - but I was pleased with him anyway!

Fab bag!
I've almost finished mine which is in very bright assorted bits from my stash, just have to put it all together now - will post a pic tomorrow.Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
awwww thank you ever so much for your kind comments
Penelope Penguin - I used Patons Smoothie DK, which is my new favourite yarn. I used the colours:
1025 Pink (63g)
1091 Natural (34g)
1093 Lilac (60g)
1094 Lemon (37g)
1095 Mint (50g)
1096 Foam (44g)
Total cost was about £5.44
You can get the yarns for £1.89 each (100g) at EKemps wool, they do have all the colours that I used. (not related to the shop in any way besides being a very happy customer)
thriftlady - I had the same intention of putting my yarns into when it's done, but I must warn you, the patter is too pretty to be a yarn bag! The bag definitely deserves outings in the summer with a book and a small blanket for picnics in the park
taurusgb - wow I wish I had the talent to convert one thing into another! I would love to see your cushion-turned-bag
jennyjelly - woooo I can't wait to see your bag!!0 -
pink_numbers that is such a beautiful bag. Definately would make a lovely 'outing' day bag.
Well done.

Lovely bag - I made my DD2 a jumper out of Paton's Smoothie!
I finished making a bag yesterday, but I made it using crochet cotton - two different shades of pink and two different weights but used together. It looks like a sort of pink tweed! I can't post pics so I can't let you see it. I love the vibrant colours which Lucy uses in the Attic.0 -
I'm putting the border on my granny square blanket. Not finished yet but I couldn't resist showing you a pic. The colours are much more vibrant in real life. I'm not sure how to get an accurate picture of them. I have my camera set on 'vivid' but it isn't quite vivid enough.
