I am trying to work that out? I would be good if I actually understood the pattern rather than constanty following the instructions.

I've decided my brain has started to slow down in my middle age:eek:

i was like that too then one night this week it just clicked and i get it now i still find myself counting as i am doing it but i can do it and my squares are looking ok so far

It's took me a while stormbraker believe me!
I've just. Tried to write it down and I would have you more muddled, try watching some videos right through without crocheting along. I did this a couple of nights in bed instead of reading my hook:eek:, yes I'm obsessed.
But now it seems to have sunk in. I am even starting to understand why I'm chaining two at the beginning of the new round to create the new corner:o doh.
Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
Working hard to get rid of our debt.

Now you have me wondering about my squares lol! As I do 3-1-3 at the corners, but have given someone a loan of my book so can't check :-(
    Every days a School day!
  • I do 3-2-3 in the corners, but i don't do any chains in the straights, i just go straight to the next cluster. I find chaining in the straights makes the granny square go a bit wonky!
the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j
  • I'm a self taught crocheter (is that the word?).

I will upload some photos soon because I love looking at everyone else's. My current project is rainbow ripple wave blanket for a family baby due in October.

I only ever make blankets because I can't be bothered to size anything. I'm so lazy.
  • Here is the 2nd of the baby blankets - I finally finished it on Saturday!

Both are now parceled up and ready to be posted down to Kent this morning! The first baby is due on 3rd May, so not long to go now!
