Anyone still frantically crocheting or blocking gifts?

I have a wrap to finish and then I am going to have to find space to block it in time for tomorrow  all while cleaning and wrapping pressies.

I had to post my hand made things (mum's crochet blanket, mum's knitted socks and a non-Christmas surprise for sis) so the frantic finishing was a couple of weeks ago!
    Hope you get everything ready!

I have tried to import photo link from both Flickr and Ravelry with no luck. Any ideas what might be doing wrong?
    Thanks

    Ravelry:
Open large image on project page.
Right click and select 'copy image url'.
Then on the message in here I click on the little photo- the one that looks like mountains in grey and yellow, and paste the copied image link into there.

(you can also copy as a link, in that case select 'copy image url' and open the link symbol to copy in to- the one with the world and little chain).

ETA Is this your hat ? (I see someone on there with a name and descripto similar to your one on here, and this IS a baby hat ;) )

    I love that - it's just like a flapper's cloche hat from the 1920s!

Another hat. Have used this pattern before and it came out really nice. This time I tried it in aran weight, and with a few tweaks (basically missing a couple of rows out!) it came out nicely. Pattern is Phannie.

This is scrumptious. I love it! I wonder if there is a video tutorial on YouTube for this style of hat as I'm rubbish with patterns yet.

    Very very well done!!

My recent projects were brooches made with crocheted flowers. I can easily attach them to hair bands too which is a plus! The brooch backs were 15p from a haberdashery.

    This is my favourite one:

And I also tried some fingerless gloves and made a coordinated flower to put on a hat that I already had (which was purchased for me, not made by myself):

The pattern is quite easy to understand, I first tried it when fairly new to patterns. As long as you can do the basics it is actually easier than it looks!

Here is my latest, random crocheting with some leftover wool (made a crochet hat for me and socks for DS) and it morphed into a neck warmer with buttons!

Crochet is definitely my fave when I want to free-style!

Jumblejack your wristwarmers and flower are great- really match the hat!

Hope you all had a happy Christmas!
