:D Oh I know the feeling...but then what happens is I find it difficult to start anything and spend more time thinking and googling lovely craft things instead of doing some of them!

I'm thinking of doing little flowers with my odds n ends, I just need to get a simple easy pattern, and that is when the web is a bad place, I lose hours lol

Just finished my first 'proper' crochet project (well second as I made it but it was too small so made another which is bigger). This is my first big project following a proper pattern from Ravelry rather than just doing squares. I have made it longer than the pattern so I can wear it with leggings.

BTW Ravelry (and the declutter thread) has made me face up to how much wool I have stashed away. To date I have 54 entries in my stash. :D

That really is very good. If you get the chance could you post the link to the pattern?

Oh they are divine :D Thank you :)
  • You could try the library for books of crochet patterns - quite a few in my local.

Thank you for the link, I LOVE the Daisies.

Our library doesn't have any crochet books :-(

Hi Lola. I know at our library they can transfer in books from other libraries if they don't have it in themselves. It might be worth asking at yours if they do this.

I'm current,y just doing a load of different colour squares with double stitch to make a blanket :-)
First time in 15 years of trying crochet again so forgotten how to do all the different stitches
And I have problems in reading and fully understanding instructions on patterns, due to dyspraxia, so never tried a pattern yet :-s
I love War Of The Worlds:heart2:

  • I'm just in the process of blocking my ripple blanket... finally. Seems we all have a thing for flowers at the moment. I've been making lots of small flowers recently and will sew them together soon to make a scarf.
