i posted a version of the instructions for the baby slippers here
I got the knitted instructions from a French persons blog - open copywrite etc, i.e s/he has publicly made available for anyone to use, and sell the resulting product... but i can not find the blog for the life of me!

chunky wool works best, and is just trial and error for sizes really.
i've put both the knitted and my attemp at crochet ones on the post for the handmade christmas thread.

if you need any more help, ask here or pm me or email me via my blog, anyway really, apart from my door, its too messy here :rotfl:

    Hi All,

Lola just had to post and say I am crocheting. I found an everlasting square pattern, very simple and after going around a couple of times, I am off and don't need the pattern:j yaaay I am so pleased cos I have been trying for ages. I am going to make a blanket for DSS and his wife who are expecting a little boy in June. I would like to back it with some nice soft brushed cotton. Is that fairly easy.

Anyway back to crocheting (my hands are aching cos I can't put it down:rotfl:)

Can anyone tell me if I can change wool half way through a blanket from DK to chunky and use a bigger hook. I've done one round at it looks ok, obviously the patter is bigger. Has anyone one tried this?? Thanks in advance J

    Hey all,

Still keeping up the crochet, working on granny squares for my blanket now, have around 15 so far i think.
I got given a nice book and some wool for my birthday and something very special. My Deceased Aunts Flower Loom. It is cracked and worn but for me holds immense sentimental value. Apparently she used to reel flowers off it ever so easily. Can anyone direct me to a site which has some instructions on its use?

    Big Hugs xx

Patchwork Quilt - I was given a copy of the latest Inside Crochet magazine for the UK for my birthday, it has a basic jumper in for men if that is any help?

Know I've read this a few months after it was posted. I dont know of any instructions, but I do remember being given a flower loom as a child, and loved it! Thanks for the memory recall!
