Oooops sorry Shysarah I was giving praise where it wasn't due (it's me age) but the flowerloom flower is still lovely. Are you going to make a blanket of them? It's a lifes work I'll tell you, I have had one on the go for at least 30years.

Hi everyone,
Can i join you? I used to crochet Abba-style beanie hats years and years ago when I had a vintage stall on Camden Market. They were the only things I could make (self-taught)! However, I've just found out about amigurumi and I'm totally smitten!
Have been following online tutorials to learn to read patterns and I've very nearly finished a cute amigurumi penguin.
If they look okay then I will be encouraged to try out more patterns.DFW Nerd 941 Proud to be dealing with my debt

Cute blankets ginnyknit I wish I had the patience to do blankets, I'm fine making squares/hexagons etc but just never get around to sewing them together - that part drives me mad  :rotfl: I have finished a one piece round one which I will take pics of and will maybe get around to sewing together my million shapes ONE DAY!
At the moment though I am going hat CRAZY, here is one of them [IMG][/img]Uploaded with ImageShack.us will post some more soon, I am loving doing them :j
