Crocheted a pair of wrist warmers last night from Attic 24's site. They are lovely but a little too big. (Wore them today when we went to the carboots, over a pair of gloves and they looked really nice) I started on another pair after midnight, was still doing rows at two this morning!!! So addictive. Hang on a tick and I'll just take a photo ;)...

I crocheted the sides together with a picot stitch, so easy. Was a pain sewing in the threads though so on the next pair I crocheted them into the rows. Was a bit fiddly but saved loads of time in the long run. Will finish off the second pair this evening.
Bought a bamboo crochet hook today as she said they are much easier on the hand...I'm quite happy with the ones I have but thought I'd give it a go anyway.
Great to see some more pictures up of everyones work. It always inspires me to do a little more.

Sorry to interrupt as I'm usually a lurker but I've seen these on www.ravelry.com - this is my first point of call for any pattern and many are free this is what I've found for the bootee you're looking for but I've seen others http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/search#query=converser%20bootee&sort=best

I think you have to join ravelry to see all the patterns.

Thank you Septemberblues I think they're brilliant but like I said before they are fiddley to do but if you have the patience they are worth it. I found the pattern on youtube the link to the pattern is here - http://crochet-mania.blogspot.com/2009/05/baby-high-top-booties.html there is a link to the video on the pattern if you find it hard to follow, I used the video for my first pair. The patterns on Ravelry are for knitted ones but I don't know how to knit but maybe you will find that easier??? Good luck and can't wait to see photos.

dizzy lizzie - love that flowerloom flower. It reminds me that I have a bag full in a cupboard waiting to be crocheted together. They've been there a VERY long time

Hi Bella I can only take credit for the wrist warmers, the flower from the loom is Shysarahs :)
And you're right the wristwarmers are very cosy.
