Weezl..I'd go for Howdens as well ...better quality and no waiting around.
Ninky sorry to hear that you are having to do reduced hours ..perhaps it'll pick up again shortly.

I've just put another £200 in mortgage savings and getting close to under £30k...should do that in next couple of weeks.

i'd go howdens. much better quality. b and q are a nightmare - deliver wrong and damaged items you then end up having to take back into store yourself if you don't want to wait a lifetime for them to make amends. along with many other screw ups they delivered 3 full worktops to us - we live in a 1 bed flat, not a castle!!

    Hi all

I've made an OP of £500 but I'm having a right toodoo with money this month
    • admin error at work meant I didn't get paid  It should be in my account by to-morrow but this will be 7 days late
    • credit card took £93 out by DD even though I had a nil balance, they charge £25 to refund it via BACS so I've had to agree to a cheque refund which didn't cost but it will take up to two weeks to refund
    • an admin delay with council tax meant I've overpaid on the BTL by £33 so waiting for a refund
    • Still waiting for approx £123 from PEP cash equity
    • Had a few days away on a city break and spent more than I'd intended
My OP this month takes me to £3800 this year and 40% of this years target so I'm a bit behind.

Thanks taxi, yes, it is annoying and frustrating too; fortunately, in my case annoying and frustrating are the only impacts, my mother and I were just saying that it's easy to see that should this happen to people who are already stuggling financially that this sort of things can so quickly and all too easily put them further into the mire.

On another note I was sorry to hear about your health situation but I'm really pleased you decided to remain part of the gang and are remaining positive.

    Best wishes

Thanks abouttimetoo....am really pleased with that as I was going to back out of this challenge a number of weeks back due to the cancer and thinking that I had no chance of completing this challenge.
