abouttimetoo wrote: »Thanks taxi, yes, it is annoying and frustrating too; fortunately, in my case annoying and frustrating are the only impacts, my mother and I were just saying that it's easy to see that should this happen to people who are already stuggling financially that this sort of things can so quickly and all too easily put them further into the mire.
On another note I was sorry to hear about your health situation but I'm really pleased you decided to remain part of the gang and are remaining positive.
Best wishes

I agree those things would put a lot of people over the edge...good job you could weather it.
Thanks remaining positive is the only way to go for me as being sad or angry doesn't change anything and uses too much energy0 -

Had some good news yesterday. Paid into a pension plan for five years 89-94 moved house and lost communication etc. Joined a company that had its own and paid into that and let the other one lapse. I read the piece regarding Camerons idea to empty all the banks of unclaimed savings and use the money. Thought I'd better check to see if I could get my money back and thought I'd be entitled to what I'd paid in (5k) and a bit more. After proving who I was I was sent a letter telling me I had accumulated nearly £21k. Unbelievable!! I am entitled to this as a lump sum when I am 55. It will be a few years after this challenge but nice eh!!12/12/12 Lets party!:beer:0
